I was doing some security updates on my servers at co-location place and to download a 330mb file takes less than 4 minutes. I want that at home. We need that bandwidth for the masses.

Just over 1 MB/s. I get that at home. I feel spoiled.

Yeah well I will pick this up on a CD on Saturday. How's that for speed?

We have a winner. 8 more servers to go.

move to the east coast (NJ/NY area), subscribe to Optimum Online for $45/month and you can get those speeds.

<--- Has those speeds 🙂

That;s only 10mbbs down and 1mbps up and they crack down on anyone using that upload bigtime.

In any case, I'd probably pay $1000 a week for that connection right now.

Yes, that is true, but only if you sustain those uploads speeds for a really long period of time. Like if I were to host an FTP server for ATOT and had everyone trying to connect and uploading at full speed, I'd probably be capped within 24 hours. On the other hand, occasional burts for a few minutes or an hour seem to be alright.
