i got my delta/pal6035 combo today.... too loud for my roomates to cope with. how good is the ys tech fan combo? i want to o/c my tbird 700 to somewhere between 800 and 900... should i put a rheaostat on the delta?
 
Get a Sanyo Denki fan.
They're really quiet fans.
20cfm, I believe

about 30db...
Sunon's are 20cfm for the old ones, 23.2cfm for the newer ones...
 
They're not going to be real thrilled about a YSTech, either, Trust me. Maybe you could get over with a high output sunon from, say, 2cooltek. If you find you really need to suck up (and you may, if they have to put up with that little screamer for very long) get a

100 ohm rheostat from RS- $3.50- I run 2 Black Delta's on my Alpha: I keep them turned way down 90% of the time, then dial them up for gaming.
