YS Tech CPU Fan

8rda+, Ys tech adj, AMD 2600+ (2,1Ghz), the fan is blowing onto the heatsink (should it flip it around?)

I am trouble setting up my CPU Fan
I think the manual voltage regulator or whatever (knob adjustment) on the ys fan is messing up its speed sensor output. When I crank the speed down manually the RPM's INCREASE. It will do this even in BIOS PC health. This is just an inconvenience, not really a problem

So I try to set up SpeedFan to regulate the fan speed. I tried just leaving the adj knob at 100% then setting up speedfan according to their instructions. When I got everything set-up I would see speed fan adjusting the fan speed on the panel, however MBM showed the rpms stayed the same and the fan indeed stayed at full throttle.

Also on speedfan I see speed1 and speed2 in the speed tab, which one is the CPU fan speed? I tried both, neither seemed to work

How are you guys running this fan? Do you just keep it at a certain % all the time or do you have software adjusting the speed.

Advice?

I had a similar problem w/ the YS fan and just went w/ a 80mm fan w/ a temp sensor to deal w/ the changes, I hope this helps a bit 🙂
