YS-Tech 48cfm 37dba fan any good?

I've seen a few people post about this 80mm fan and I'm interested in using it on my sk6. Does it have rpm sensing and more importantly, are these specs for real? IF anyone has it, please let me know how it is. I currently have a delta 30cfm @ 39dba, so 37dba should not be bad, but I'm interested in knowing more.

I have the YS-Tech FD1281257B-2A on my AX-7 which is rated on their site at 45CFM & 34DB (similar to the specs posted by you) which is a better spec than the A12H Panaflo (32DB @ 39CFM) but the panaflo 'seems' to have better airflow on the bench making you think that YS are exaggerating the specs, and the Pan is definately quieter and better built-

I actually fitted the YS-Tech because the Pan doesn`t have RPM sensing and even connecting the third pin doesn`t enable it either, and I`d rather have the thing shutdown the machine if it fails..

I had that fan on a Alpha 8045 and it worked great. It has high air flow and it is pretty quiet. The center part on the fan is just a bit smaller than most fans which is good as there is more room for air to flow through it. I Like the YS Tech fans, just as good if not better than the Panaflos.

I don't think the Y.S. Tech specs are exaggerated...I think the Panaflos are underestimated. That's some crazy stuff they do at Panasonic, push a lot of air with less noise.

Just out of curiousity, does this YSTECH fan have rpm sensing if I get the 3 pin connector?

i have the adjustable version of this fan on my alpha 8942 and it has RPM monitoring, so i would imagine that the 3 pin does. turned all the way up (to 3800 rpm) the fan is rather quiet. a LOT quieter than a delta black label (i used to have one on an sk-6, so i know how loud they are!)

Just for the record...the YS Tech fans DO have the third lead for rpm sensing.
If only Panaflo did as well.
