I wonder how lawyers who support BS like this feel about their self worth. I mean to be a total parasite off of society. Maybe she almost ate a rat, get over it. I think I ate booger when I was 5, didn't cause me any psychological effects.

LOL @ Russ's 'Kroc' joke! To be honest, the quality of fast food restaurants in Toronto has always been horrible. I hate to blame immigrants (I am one myself) but they are partly responsible for the conditions in those restaurants. Now I'm NOT saying that they are crude, dirty people who don't care about sanitation cuz they never cared back in the motherland. I'd bet most of the management in these restaurants would be Canadians who've been living there for quite some time. However, employees who do work at these restaurants often keep quiet and fail to notify management of infestations for fear of losing their jobs. Also, the newest immigrants often aren't informed of sanitary regulations because management won't tell them and neither do the others working there. For the most part, they are happy just working and can put up with a few rats and cockroaches. A relative of mine got frustrated because his fellow employees wouldn't take a stand with him to demand that management take some action. He got fired, while they kept their jobs. Oh well, just be wary of eating fast food in Toronto or any other city with a high concentration of recent, unskilled immigrants working fast food jobs.

The manager TRIED to confiscate it?! LOL! The people probably just made it up and are trying to get some money out of MCDs because of stories they heard.

The saddest part is that the corporation will probably pony up a substantial nuisance settlement.

it was all over toronto newspapers today.
if this did happen, I would like to see the family win the lawsuit. you're talking about a whole rat head here!!! I remember when I was really little, my dad made instant noodles for me so I pigged out. next thing I see is a frog leg in my bowl... I got so freaked out that I just threw the bowl across the room spontaneously and started crying.

Being in a chinese family, eating frog legs is kinda like a 'delicacy' (go figure).. so now whenever I goto a restaurant, if by the slightest chance a table near me had frog legs, I would just sit there and not move (dunno why that happens).
