No one is that much of a fan of anodyne, soulless, made by numbers, mush music.
He be trolling.
And I say that as someone that had to have a stand up argument at work about how shit Andrew Lloyd Webber is and his crimes against music!
Mariah is a detail-oriented writer. There's the good-enough standard...and then there's "extra work" in pepper notes here and there. She does the latter.

The Japanese took well to her long before my fandom started.

The Japanese buy used panties out of vending machines, don't use them as an appeal to authority!

Japanese are pervy yes. But they do like their yearly Beethoven. And the 150k tickets sold in 2 hours for the Daydream included Japanese women buying them....they were in the audience based on the video recording.

Mozart's Clarinet Concerto, when performed with a basset clarinet...is basically a glimpse into the future 200 years from his time....not much difference in what is done in the first movement and what Mariah does. ;)

I like a bit of Beethoven, I like a bit of Mozart, I go to the opera 6 or 7 times a year, I've been to La Scala, I'm a bit of a perve myself, I would tear my fucking ears off if you made me sit through an entire concert or Mariah giving it the "YeeeeeYYYYaaaAaaRrrrr".

Well, I was slow myself because the timbre of her voice wasn't favorable to me on initial impression...I generally don't like "wind instruments" but the oboe and piccolo. I took to Frozen's soundtrack or Belinda Carlisle much faster and listened to that stuff on repeat.

I listened to 86 CDs of Beethoven....pretty useful to learn that he was a masterful arranger...which is why I like the piano trio of the Symphony No. 2 more than the orchestral version. I happen to like "Germania" as well.

I also bought a bunch of Mozart operas 15 years ago and listened to the recordings multiple times for the full 3 hours.

Would you then say that the Phantom of the Opera is there, inside your mind?
