Youtube videos show black screen with audio

I installed a new router last night (Dlink DIR-859). Everything seems to be running fine except for youtube via firefox, and I don't know if it's the router, my PC, or what. Running Chrome w/ adblock has no issues, just firefox (which is my main browser).

My PC is connected to the router via ethernet. All my other devices are connected wifi. Only on my PC does youtube not seem to work right. I'm not sure if there are some settings I need to change in the router with IPv6 or anything, but I am at my wits end. It seems that adblock on firefox is causing the issue, but it's just weird that on the old router, it wasn't an issue, nor is it an issue w/ my other devices.

Here is a breakdown of the devices and what I've tested.

-Iphone 6 - connected wifi, YT app runs fine.
-PC Laptop - connected wifi, YT on firefox with adblock runs fine.
-PC Laptop (same as above) - connected ethernet, YT on firefox with adblock runs fine.
-PC desktop - connected ethernet, YT does not play, only audio.

My desktop is set to a static local IP so that I can have some ports opened for it, but I've tried disabling those ports and taking it off static IP and it doesn't help. It has to be an issue with my router as my PC had no problems with YT on my old router.

I'd appreciate any help or advice from anyone. Thanks!

I think firefox is still using the flash player, so fix your flash.

I saw this somewhere. Right click on the video window and disable hardware acceleration. I may not have the wording exact but it will be similar.

I can't tell you why it's happening, I only know the fix.

Thanks for the replies guys. Appreciate it.

I originally had first tried uninstalling/reinstalling FF to no avail, but I tried it again this time making sure to delete all folders/appdata associated with it. Reinstalled it from a clean install and now it seems to be working again. At least YT videos are playing as normal like before.

Hopefully it was just a one time thing and won't resurface later.

as others pointed out, the symptoms themselves mean that its a client side problem. not a problem in the router..

Have this issue intermittently, a refresh or two always fixes it. I'm using Chrome, btw.
