As soon as you delete the content from YouTube, their license is toast. No big deal I say.

You might delete it from being public, but you don't necessarily delete it from YouTubes content stash.

The ommitted certain parts of the paragraph in the quote to
make youtube look bad.


The first sentence in the TOS paragraph is

For clarity, you retain all of your ownership rights in your User Submissions

it omitted perhaps the most important lines from the damn TOS.

I don't think YouTube ever had any interest in hijacking their users' comments, I always thought that was just to protect themselves.

People overreact and draw stupid stupid conclusions without thinking.
