Youtube is unusually slow on my home network

Lately I've been noticing that damn near every youtube video I open doesn't load fast enough to watch without pausing. The weird thing is, youtube's generally smooth and fast when I try using the network at my university. Any other site loads significantly faster at home (10mbit connection; university network's usually around 1-2mbit on a normal day). Any ideas as to why just youtube is this slow? Back when it was fine, even 720p videos would stream perfectly. Now even 360p videos can't buffer fast enough.
