Is it really not possible to simply download a youtube video so you can watch it offline on your iPoop? (Without jailbreaking).
 
From on the iDevice? Not that I am aware of.

From on the computer, install Safari and then the ClickToFlash extension. That will give you the option to download the MP4.
 
I am still looking for a (simple) way to watch a youtube clip offline. It's hard to believe this is not possible and/or no one does this?
