That gizmochina leak looks like unsourced wishlist BS.
I see what you did there...that is what is hot right now
How would a 620 compare to the 800 on the old n5 or the 805 in the n6? I thought the 600 class chips were quite a bit less powerful than the 800 series?
ARM says that the A72 is up to twice as fast as the Cortex A57 that powers the Snapdragon 808 and 810, so both of these new midrange chips could actually outrun current high-end chips when they're released.
Some specs have leaked:

If that is real I will be one of the people refreshing like a crazy person to get one. That large battery plus OIS plus a not broken USB-C port, plus the right screen resolution for the size. Heck I even like the SoC. Can't tell you how excited I am.
I was wondering that and looked up the 620. From what I can tell it's not much of a downgrade from the 810 if at all.
For instance, it has the A72 instead of A57. Clocked lower but supposedly the A72 is more efficient. Could actually be a net benefit in both performance and battery life.
300mbps LTE instead of 450mbps. Well, I'm not getting that much either way so that's a wash.
DDR3 instead of DDR4. Detrimental to battery life.
Adreno GPU instead of Mali. Hard to tell unless more information is released since Adreno ranges from superb to terrible.
you'd never get that maximum LTE speed, as that requires 100mhz of bandwidth, which no stateside carriers have. You'd still get 45mbps instead of 30, though...
A camera that doesn't suck. The only thing that has kept me off the Nexus line after owning an Galaxy Nexus is the terrible cameras. Pretty much the only reason I picked my Note 4 over the Nexus 6. This is something that for years I didn't give a crap about....until I had a kid. Now camera in a smartphone is a top priority.
Does no one try alternate camera apps?
Focus lag on a Nexus is completely the fault of the stock camera app.
My Google-fu is failing miserably, yielding way too many results (many not free). What are the best camera apps for someone who doesn't give a damn about filters or other dumb features like that? I don't mind paying but the app should be completely above and beyond the stock app in every way. I used an alternate camera app circa 2011 or so but that doesn't seem to be supported anymore. I'm running 5.1.1 if that makes a difference.
Up here in Canada, I've already gotten over 45mbps (megabits per second) on the LTE of my Galaxy S4 =)
Main things I want are USB C and a finger printer reader. Oh and UFS storage.
My wish list is by then we get a SoC that isn't the 808 or 810.
