That's usually where I buy my jeans so I guess it depends on where I am

27x30, although it's impossible to find pants that size and I'd rather have them baggy so I go with 30x30 when I buy pants.

the last time my waist was smaller than my inseam was probably (just guessing) around 1986 when i got out of boot camp. maybe. it might have been in jr. high school
but my legs are quite short for my height

I wear both 30x32 and 32x32 but I probably own more of the latter so I voted even. I'd rather they be a little on the loose side and I can just wear a belt if necessary.

28 x 30 is a common size

That it is, but while it fits around the waist, most jeans that size are either too tight in the crotch, or the thighs so I just go with 30x30 and wear a belt.

Pretty damn close to 1:1, depending on where I buy them. waist is 32-24, inseam is usually 32, depending on the pants.

31x32, but these pants are falling off me (my only pair of pants that doesn't have holes in it). I need to wear a belt with it.
