1) Gator - does all sorts of fun things without your permission
2) MSN messenger - how the f*ck do I get rid of this bullsh*t!
3) MacOS X - Jobs broke unix. Now included pinwheel of death (btw, I can't count how many time finder crashed on me last week)
4) Windows ME - poweron->bluescreen->click start->bluescreen....
5) Java - what kind of virtual machine can't keep track of it's own environment variables? -- a sh!tty one.

I still don't understand the hatred of Windows ME. I never had many problems with it.

Anyway, MSN Messenger is pretty easy to perminately kill. Just rename the Messenger folder in Program Files, and that will take care of it for good.

What is it with all the "patching" of OE that everyone's talking about? Aren't those patches included in the regular Windows Updates? You don't have to go out and find patches exlclusively for OE. And the reason it has the most holes, is because it's the most popular - you know, sort of like Windows? Deal with it. If Eudora was as popular, I'm sure all the hackers be finding holes in it too.

Yeah, I've had Windows XP running on my laptop for over a year now. I haven't had any real problems with it.

Hell, one of my old computers had Windows 95 OSR2 running relatively stable on it for over 3 years. It's not hard to do, as long as you do regular maintience to your system.

1) Gator
2) RealOne
3) RealPlayers versions less than 7

But the absolute worst softwares are the ones the publisher tell you not to use, e.g. Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4 and the bundled DirectCD module. I think it was around the time Win2K just came out that Adapter said DirectCD would corrupt your registry enough to cause a bootup failure, and even after releasing a patch (it helped only a small portion), they said don't install it. Uh... great?

nero rocks!
you're smokin crack

nero owns other burning programs. you are on crack.

In terms of overburn it does suck big time. I am currently using CD Mate 2.2.8.1 and it is by far the best.
It is fast, and is ease to use. It has, in short, copied some of the most difficult disks for me where others have produced coasters.
Additionaly, CD Mate has a good site with forum, updates, archives (for copy protection information trouble shooting etc.).

Oh BTW let me know when you succeed with a 99min (900mb)burn using nero. Hell even 800mb will do.

1. RealPlayer (No I don't want you to play my mp3s, don't run in the background either, and stop starting up when windows starts)
2. Windows media player versions 7 and up (6.4 was good.. after that it got so bloated with crap and I don't understand why)
3. winRAR (Why can't people just use zip)
4. Anything that doesn't close when you click the X
5. Windows Explorer - how come everytime this program screws up it takes the OS down with it?

I like IE and OE ... Opera and Netscape are not as stable as IE is on my system. And gator I do not consider to be a program... more like a virus.

1) Xupiter/Gator.. all those spyware, ad programs that you can never really remove
2) QuickTime - cannot play fullscreen, that annoying pop up that loads everytime you play a quick time file asking if you want pro
3) WinAmp3 - hate it that new skins change the layout, I like to have a new skin load for every song
4) ICQ - just got so bad that I stopped using it
5) ATI Multimedia center.. useless
