Your thoughts on the Logitech Mouseman Optical??

I am thinking about getting the Logitech Mouseman Optical mouse, and wanted some personal reviews about it. I have the 4-button Logitech Mouseman+ now and I love it. The optical Logitech looks very similar to it and I have heard only good things about it. From what I understand, there is another Logitech optical mouse with the iFeel movement in it, but this is not the one I am considering.

Here is the catch. . . I had a MS Intellimouse Explorer and I hated it. It was too big and cumbersome for my liking. It seems like the Logitech optical is a little bit bigger than my Mouseman, but it does not seem to bother me.

If I hated the MS mouse, am I wasting my time? Those of you who have this mouse I am considering, what do you think about it?

Well, i have both... i have the newer MS optical, the smaller one with 4 buttons and the scroll wheel (GREAT for surfing, just click the side mouse buttons to forward and back). I also have the Logitech optical, the small blue one with just the two mouse.

I like the MS one a lot better. Both perform pretty much equally (optically that is), but the MS scroll wheel is better IMO. The only reason why i went with the Logitech was for convenience. It gets confusing having the exact same mice sitting side by side, so i got the Logitech.

Ahhhh, another informative post by bonkers.

I have the Logitech mouseman optical, mouseman wheel, and the Intellimouse Explorer. I find both mousemans to be about the same size. I like the optical technology though, and Logitech did a nice job with the blue mouseman optical. However the Intellimouse Explorer has a better "feel" and seems to be more responsive. Could it be the 33% faster technology? At first I thought the Explorer was too big, but after using it I find that it is more ergonomic.

Both opticals are very nice, but I am partial to the Explorer.

have not used explorer yet, but I have used the both optical mice from logitech, has well has their Ifeel mice. If you like the 4 button logitech, then you love theoptical version of it has well. The ifeel version do take some getting use to with the feelback you get.

I also have the Logitech optical mouse and love it...! I had a LARGE (Rat) before made by Contour they came in Large, Med, Small (I have big hands). It is a much better feel than the MS version (a friend has one he even likes mine better). Of course to each his own... BTW scored it for $30 shipped (new) from the Buy, sell, trade forum...
