I recommended one to a friend, and she bought it and loves it. Very good camera. The only downside is the xD memory cards. One great feature is being able to record audio with video.

Unless you want more manual features, the 3800 is a great way to go. (There is no control for manual focus... etc.)

yeah my g/f just bought one and she loves it very much. she started taking a bunch of pics and they all look excellent. to make the pics looks sharp a word of advice is to hold it tight to your head. any slight movement causes blurriness. i hope you get it because it's an awesome camera. we love how it just works so smoothly with windows xp. the digital sounds are cool too like when you first turn it on it sounds like r2d2 and the clicking sound when you take a photo.
