Your thoughts on future XP compatability

Some of you may remember abit's kt7a motherboards and how they were supposed to support all future athlon processors, but in actuallity only versions 1.3 or higher officially supported the XP's. Do you think the same will happen when the 166 MHz fsb processors make their debut, or will everything work as they claim? I'm just interested in you thoughts, fellas.

I believe it'll work on most KT333 and KT400 boards with a simple BIOs update.

I am certainly HOPING they will, but the nature of the business is to create products that require you to upgrade.
