Your thoughts on an E.T. remake for the PS3 or 360?

Anyone else hoping for an E.T. remake for the Playstation 3 or XBox 360? Zooming in and out of wells, savoring the flavor of delicious Reese's Pieces, visiting exotic locations like Washington DC...

It begs for a high def remake. Anyone agree?

I remember playing E.T. as a child and thinking "This doesn't make any sense!" and "I don't remember this from the movie."
It made even less sense than Journey Escape.

Yeah dude, that may not be such a good idea. Most kids haven't even seen E.T. and the adults that remember it, I don't think will be too excited to play it. I have flash backs of Atari E.T. and it just makes me cringe. Pretty dang boring. Fvcking lifting your head, up and down, up and down, up and down...noooooooooooooooooooooooo!

That was up there on the crappiest games ever for me. Thought maybe I was to young to understand, but tried it when I spun up the atari several years back it still have no story or objective.
