The U.S. military is offering free plastic surgery as part of incentives for being in the military, including breast implants and liposuction. The bill is paid with tax money. A few hundred breast implants were done in 2002 and 2003.

I pay more in taxes as a small business owner than if I were working in a corporation. I can't begin to describe how much this pisses me off.

Sorry about the repost. I hadn't seen it before and I didn't find it in a search.

As for your other comment... I don't enjoy writing out a fat check four times a year for taxes. Knowing a part of that money is being used for comestic surgery bothers me.

On second thought, "the magazine quoted an Army spokeswoman as saying, 'the surgeons have to have someone to practice on'" doesn't instill much confidence.
