Your take on Expresscameras.com?

Finding a lot of places that sell the Rebel XT for approximately $1000, I found expresscameras.com sell this thing along with a package for a price around that range. Assuming I want this thing by the end of this week, I want a trustworthy site.

http://www.expresscameras.com/prodetails.asp?prodid=306476&up=310757&start=1 This is what I planned to order.

I own the regular Rebel GII and I'm tired of waiting for my film to process and having it so that the only way to put it on the computer is to scan it or order it as a CD.

So right now, I'm just asking your take on the legitimacy of this site or if any of you have any testimonials. I do plan to have this shipped next day air if all of the replies are satisfactory.

I was JUST about to link to that. I just remembered that site's existence.

Time to look somewhere else...

Stick with Buydig, Beach Camera, Butterfly Photo, B&H or other highly rated resellers that give good deals.

You are usually better off not buying the packages as they often slip crappy memory cards or shoddy tripods in them. spend a little more and get what you need. If you can wait, wait until Canon is doing rebates again.

Thanks for that bit of wisdom. Sadly, ASAP is definately a big factor in here. It doesn't help that it also was needed on short notice, but just enough to where I can shop around and get perhaps an overnight shipping.

All of the stores around here (RitzCamera and whatnot) sold it for $999.99, not including a memory card.

According to resellerratings.com, their best bet store, Profeel is trustworthy enough along with a package that has a 512 Sandisk Compact Flash Card.

As I'm typing, I'm researching on types of flash cards to see how much they'd normally cost and if this disk could be a possible POS.

Any help would definately be appreciated.

Buydig has the black kit for $860 and "1-2 business day" shipping is $25. That seems like a decent price.

Thanks so much. I do believe the Butterfly Photo gives me the best deal; for the first kit and the camera, it would cost me $914.

It'll be a silver camera, but there's no complaints about that.
