With the exception of Arizona (#3 seed) in 1997 and Syracuse (#4 in 2003), no teams with a seed ranked lower than #2 have won the championship in the last 10 years or so.
 
Damn I can't believe Bama lost like that. And I can't belive UW-M shot almost 60% from three!
 
I can, UW-M was an awesome team during the regular season, now granted they didn't play anybody real well, now is there time to shine.

I think something like 7 out of the 8 writers on CNNSI.com picked Bama to lose. They were the popular 5-losing-to-12 pick this year. Good call there. Piss poor perimeter defense and ball handling went to crap in the second half.
