Orange juice always seems to do the trick for me. Anything with simple sugars for your body to easily process.
You must have an iron stomach. The two things I always avoid when I have a bad hangover is OJ and/or milk. They turn my stomach inside out.

Drink lots of water. It helps if you do this before you go to bed the night before.

Oh, and don't drink so much. ;)

Whenever i know I'm going to be drinking heavy I will drink water before i go out. Also for every 2 beers i have a glass of water.

Then we go to taco bell and i take 2 aleve.

In the morning i usually make a huge breakfast. fried eggs, sausage and hash browns.

That's the thing! I only had five drinks. Granted, the bar keep has a thing for me and probably put more than 1 shots worth of tequila in my margarita. So... that could be why....

Cheap tequila and the sugar bomb mixer...yeah that's going to leave a mark on your gut. Margaritas give me gut rot if I have more than one or two. I can't do heavy sugar with my alcohol.

Put on shorts and a t-shirt then go outside and run 5k. Don't stop until you've done it, no matter how you feel. Everytime I make the mistake of drinking enough to have a wicked hangover, I run a hangover 5k and it does wonders.

During drinking when I'm about done take a couple Tylenol or aspirin, drink 20oz of water or Gatorade then eat a small snack. Some thing with some carbs and nutrition.

Don't feel perfect in the morning but a hell of a lot better than not having had any of that. Feel a little sluggish for the first hour or so until I've gotten about and eaten but no real hangover.

Other than that don't drink so much

My morning dump was all sorts of rank today. Like... extra stank. So yeah it did some damage I'm sure.

Stick with aspirin. Mixing Tylenol / ibuprofen and alcohol isn't a great idea.

I always request no syrup in my margaritas.

OP, the obvious answer is to simply be born from a lineage of epic alcoholics and not get hangovers. Also, drinking lots of water before passing out helps.

Pre-hangover: I drink a ton of water every time I drink booze. I drink at least a pint of water for each alcoholic drink. This way I basically never get a hangover. Before I started doing this I would sometimes get a hangover, and would deal with it by taking some Sudafed (if it was severe) or some Excedrin (if it was less severe).

I'm not Irish enough for that :(

Yeah I came inside and I basically ripped off my clothes and passed out. I'm still hurting still. Going to try go work out in a few minutes to see if that helps.

You need sodium along with with the water. Because you pee out sodium and thus are low in blood volume. If you drink water to cure a hangover you are too hypotonic and will feel worse. Its also why nobody is actually thirsty when hungover even though they are dehydrated.

Sweating out even more sodium? Probably will make you feel worse ;)

Aspirin and Tylenol = Liver
Ibuprofen = Kidneys

It won't hurt as much taking ibuprofen with alcohol, but Tylenol should be avoided....Aspirin is also alright...In most cases with NSAIDs, you should always use them sparingly because they can cause GI bleeds. I usually take a couple advil, but drink lots of water with it and try to take it with food.

Pre-hangover cure that works every time, all the time: don't drink. Alcohol is bad; you shouldn't drink.

You're the guy standing outside Planned Parenthood screaming about abstinence. Great, just let me get in my time machine and we'll be hunky-dory!

That said, I actually have found the advice "don't go to bed drunk" is legitimately super useful for preventing hangovers. You can get drunk as a skunk, but as long as you sober up to a certain degree before you go to sleep, you'll avoid most of the bullshit that accompanies a hangover. Sure, you might be exhausted the next day, but that's going to happen regardless, and at least you won't feel like Gallagher mistook your head for a watermelon.

At this time of year; jump into a outdoor swimming pool. the hangover is smart - it will not get wet.
