Your personal experience with outpost.com

Hey guys, i'm about to order this from outpost.com BFG 6800. I just wanted to get a little info from people who have had experience dealing with outpost.com. Just be honest with me, what did you think of them, and did your package get to you reasonably quick? :gift:

I've only bought from outpost once. I ordered 3 parts, recieved 2, and the 3rd was cancelled (I ordered it when it was on backorder and they were not recieving any more of that component from the manufacturer...nothing they could do about it). They never charged me though. I did order from them again, but cancelled my order (no fault of theirs, I just choose to buy a different part at a different store) I've heard of some ppl haveing a bit of trouble with them, but I've never had any problems whatsoever with the company.

I'd say it's a pretty safe bet buying from them...

As long as they have the part in stock, they ship quickly and the products arrive in good condition.

Shipping is reasonable too.

Fairly good. Ordered a HDD from them at 9 AM on Friday, got the disk at 11:00 Saturday morning. (And the difference in Overnight versus regular shipping was about $4.00) [Btw, the disk came from Ohio --> Georgia]

Overall I've had fairly good exp w/ them, but you need to be careful many times their part descriptions are missleading or completely wrong, I tried to buy some OCZ EB 1GB modules from them and they sent me Value ram instead and couldn't provide the EB memory, sucfice to say I canceld that order after I returned the wrong parts they sent me.

I ordered FFXI from them. Received it pretty fast considering I live in England 🙂

Id order from them again.

I was using outpost before I found newegg (looong time ago).. prices are fair but what I liked about them was the really fast shipping.
