Ok, installed Windows 10 on a laptop and now it won't let me switch the monitor over to the HDMI connected monitor. It was working fine until the upgrade. I've tried two different monitors and nothing. I keep getting the error saying "Your PC can't project to another screen," and it tells me to reinstall the driver.
I've tried uninstalling the driver, rebooting, etc., yet every time it installs the driver again (Intel(R) HD Graphics), I keep getting the same error. When looking at the driver in "Device Manager," it states that Windows stopped the device because it has reported problems, but I don't see any way to fix these issues.
The driver info is:
Driver #: 10.18.10.4276
Driver Date: 8/17/15
I'm at a loss as to what to do here. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.
