Hey guys.

I was wondering if I will see much improvement over my 6800GT and my AMD 64 3500+ if I went with a x2 4400+ and a 7800GS?

Well, there's not much that's faster and worth it for you in AGP. I would say that's your best upgrade route to stay AGP. IMO you should hold on a bit longer and go PCIe.
 
I was thinking the same thing. I just really don't have the money to dish out for it, nor do I justify spending that much. I am thinking about just getting a Xbox 360 for my casual gaming habits. =p Not to mention that the 360 would look fantastic on my monitor. =)
