I've decided to swap out wheels at the same time as my 5+ year old tires.

style 343 wheels:

style 433 wheels:

The 433 will come staggered which means the rears will look pretty wide at 315mm (what I have now). The 343s will come as a square 275mm wide setup.

343s look less busy, which is a good thing.
They still look a bit weird on an X5, especially because of the recessed center and the slightly filigreed look, but better than the overly busy ones.

Slimmer tire means better economy, but you may lose some traction on acceleration - but since it's got a center diff, that shouldn't be an issue, really.

I'd personally go for something more substantial looking on such a rugged-ish looking car, but from these two, clearly the 343s.

...and the wheels you have now are....

I think they're a good choice for the car (ruggedness as Rick said), but I've always had a slight vibration above 60mph with them despite road force balancing. I think one or two of the rims are out of round. Just time for a change too.

Definitely 343. The 433s, at least in that picture, are not at all my cup of tea. Somehow I am unsurprised that the same person chose those wheels and gratuitous M stripes on a non-M car. Personally I think your stock wheels look better than either, and I don't really understand buying a costly set of wheels for strictly aesthetic reasons. I would just get your stock wheels repaired.

not that I'm leaning toward the 433, but it does look good on cars:

Maybe the difference is the wheel gap on a truck.

These look the best imo

They still look really garish IMO. Again, I think your stock wheels look a ton better than either of these replacements. This just feels like throwing away money to me.

I'm going to be in the minority, but of the two I prefer 433. 343 look too naked and too boring. 433 have transformer vibe going through them, I like that, I think they look better. Just IMO.
