My dad feels that Alan Greenspan (head of federal reserve) is one of, if not the most powerful man in America and possibly the world. I know that he has a lot of powers and that he has great responsibilities and effects us in huge ways but who's your opinion on the most single individual in the world? Oil tycoon? CEO? President?

When you see someone following Alan Greenspan with the "nuclear football," then you can say he's the most powerful man in America. Until then, it is and will remain the President.
 
I would say it would be the leader that controls China (not sure who he is). If that country would ever mobilize for war, the rest of us are screwed. (then again if the US decided to expand it's sphere of control to encompass the entire world we would be screwed too)

My son. At least to me, my family is more important than anything else. I believe the chair of the Fed is very influential, but maybe not the most "powerful man" in the world.

i'm not talking about your answer. I gave an opinion in an eminem thread and you're determined to try to mock me or something. You want to know who i worship? My parents. They were extremely wealthy in Taiwan but wanted better opportunities for their children, so they brought them to America. They coudlnl't visit their entire family tree for 20 years because of the Green Card thing. There, you now know who I worship. Put that in your profile.

Took out the WTC, will probably get the war he wants and all that goes with it, support for his cause, and sets the US against much of the world.

I didn't do it to mock you. I just thought it was funny.

PS: my family came from the Ukraine. They were farmers in the wheat fields. They were about as poor as you can get. Not only that but 90% of my European relatives were killed during WW2 in concentration camps.

 
Just because he's a moderator doesn't mean i have to bend over for him. I thought this forum was to express opinions and have interesting threads, not to sit here pleasing the mods
