Okay freaks, I have been trying to decide which digital camera under $400 is the best.

I really want a 3 megapixel, but I understand that there are some 2mp cameras that are just as good.

Use to have a 1.3mp Olympus that I liked but sold, cause my wife bought me a new Kodak 2mp last Christmas. Btw, ppl are right about Kodak's DCs feeling cheap and so on. My old Olympus took better pictures in my opinion.

A big thing for me is taking macros, but even regular pics look like crap with my Kodak. :(

HELP!!!

TIA

Well, I have no expierence in the DC world, but i've been looking for a DC for a month or so now. I've found the Canon A40 is one of the best cameras for the price. And better yet, the A40 seems make more owners happier. I order the A40 for 200 + tax and OfficeMax a few nights ago. I can't wait till it comes in.
Hope that helps some.

peace

Yeah, I've heard alot of good things about the A40.

Just wondering if there is a 3mp camera that is better. :)

I'll second and third on the Cannon S30! one of the fastest shutters in the consumer level digital cameras. Pleanty of features from fully point and click simplicity, to manual all the way.

If zoom is important to you, look at the Olympus C720 8X optical zoom! another good comsumer digital!

Try the Olympus D550; compact, light weight, takes great close ups, routine party pics. Batteries last a long time. 3MP I think. Lens is OK.
