Hey

I have big headache, I?m upgrading my system and first thing is video. I?m thinking msi 4200 or 4400 card. Here is the problem ? there is 40$ difference (Canada) between 4200 64 and 128, and 40 $ difference between 4200 128 and 4400. I would have to sacrifice on cpu if I would go with 4400 :

with 4200 64 I could get XP1900,
with 4200 128 could get XP1700,
and with 4400 XP1600 plus get some cheap heatsink with it so overclockin would not be an option.

The worst thing is that 4200 64 cards are faster and cheaper than 128 cards, please help.

I'd get the 4200 128MB myself. New games already need the extra Video RAM so I think going with 64 is kind of foolish. I just purchased an Asus Ti 4200 128 yesterday and it's a good card. I have had it overclocked to 300 core and 550 Memory (250 444 stock) with no problems yet. I'll be playing around with it this weekend to see what I can max it out at. I'd like to get the memory to 600 but I may have to get some RAM sinks.

The 4400 comes on the bigger PCB board (8 layer vs 6 for 4200) and comes with much faster memory. I'm pretty sure people have gotten 4400s over 4600 speeds. Still I think the 4200 is a better deal, and lets you get a faster processor.
