Your opinion on an LG LCD

The price got my attention, seems very cheap. Have any of you had experiences with LG that you could share with me? I am a casual gamer playing games such as Total War, and World of Warcraft, so i'm not on the bleeding edge. Any input at all is greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I have two 1780U's. The U's were "underrated" so they changed the specs, dropped the U and put in a Q. For two hundred bucks it's not a bad monitor. In any of my FPS (FEAR, Q4, GRAW and BF2) there is no ghosting. I don't know how to judge picture and color quality as I have nothing to compare it to.

I have an LG 1710B...fairly old now I think.

I don't really notice any ghosting while gaming...the only thing that bugs me is when I'm scrolling a webpage, stuff sorta lags behind (ghosting??)...but like I said I don't notice it in gaming. I think mine is a 16ms monitor.

Another thing I like is that downscaling the resolution doesn't look like crap even if I go to 1024x768 from a native of 1280x1024. On other LCDs I've tried...anything other than native resolution looks like crap. But I'm no expert.
