Last few years I've been using Bryophyte consistently. I've stopped using/dropped past identities (corrigan, corrigan_99, iamjem.) My spouse uses a new identity with every board. I think he's paranoid about people recognizing him from other places, but I hardly see how that's possible considering he is very opposed to posting more than a few times on any particular board. He has no interest in developing an online personna or cultivating online friendships and seems to look down on those who do (me included, I imagine.)

Pretty consistent. But I do change every few years, mainly because I get tired of some names. Actually, people I've known for years still call me 'cc' cause that was short for a name I used to use.

Some names I don't really like, or I don't feel that they fit, so I don't use them.

EDIT: I'm positive I'm not the only 'Tremulant.' But I'm fairly sure that I am the only 'juice-tan.'

I'm rgwalt on every forum I visit. It was the username/e-mail address I chose for myself when I went to college in 97, and it just seemed easier to remember one alias than multiple ones. I don't really care if someone knows who I am from forum to forum and place to place on line.

I used to. Then a friend decdied to google me and I noticed how it was very possible to find out almost everything about me by using my old name. Then I started to mix it upa little bit, hence where this came from
