I drive a shitbox 2015 Mazda 3 and I'm hoping to pick up a used Focus RS in 2-3 years.

For the first time in 22 years I do not have a car and have no immediate plans to purchase one, but the new Wrangler JL would probably be at the top of my list.

2006 Acura TSX. Get off my lawn.

Fucking love that car and the last mechanic I saw told me to keep it as long as possible... basically saying, they don't make them like that anymore. I can't lie, I've done tons of stuff to it over the years: Replaced the power steering pump, serpentine belt, replaced the starter, and spark plugs. Stuff I normally didn't used to do, but through the power of YouTube I love it now.

Inevitably though, since we recently had a kid and plan to have 1 or 2 additional I'm likely going to need an SUV.

2017 Silverado 1500 4x4 LTAS and 2017 Malibu 1.5T LT. Will probably trade in late 2019 for a 3/4 ton. Leaning towards a F-250 KR with the PSD but I’m really interested if the new Ford “7X” gas motor is going to replace the 6.2 in the 250/350 class, or if it’s only going in the F-450-F650 to replace the old 6.8 V10. I think the Malibu will probably be traded to go back to a Buick. We really loved our 2014 Verano, wonderful car, the Malibu hasn’t quite lived up to the Buick in quiet and refinement. A Regal GS will probably be high on her list.

2002 Toyota Tundra: Replace with Tesla truck
2003 Toyota Sienna: Replace with Tesla Model 3 or Model Y
2005 Lexus LX470: Replace with Lexus LX570
2007 Chevy Corvette: Replace with Tesla Roadster 2

Unless the LX470 dies, my next vehicle will be 100% Tesla. When and what model is the only uncertainty.

Current
13 ford focus hatch 5 speed
04 VW jetta wagon TDI auto (needs to be sold)
95 mazda miata (keeper)

Plan to replace the focus with a used 2nd gen chevy volt in 2 or 3 years. Would love to go full EV but $$$$$ and no highspeed charging network around here.

2008.5 mazda3. 145,000 miles and all but 3 of them are mine. really would like a C43 AMG or whatever version gets the new inline 3.0 motor, though that's not a likely car. more likely to get a mazda6 if anything.

2001 Chevy Impala 3.4L with 147K miles - 2019 or '20 Ford Transit Connect LWB Titanium Diesel. Knowing how cheap I am I'll probably settle for a leftover '18 Titanium.

Looking to buy next May as this thing aint passing smog again due to 4 codes on the dummy light. If I get over 3-bills on my stock vest next March, maybe I'll splurge and get a Roadtrek Sprinter.

My housemate had a 2008 tsx. It really is a nice car. Pretty easy to work on, and the motors are bullet proof.

In any other country, or this one 30 years ago, it would have been considered a plenty-large family sedan. Screw SUVs; keep the thing.

Just sold my 01 miata before moving to texas. Only have my 2015 explorer sport now. Have an interest in picking up an econobox daily driver (probably a kia optima, fusion hybrid, or similar) and in next 2-3 years will get myself something impractical like an M series, Maserati GT, or Jaguar XKR

2007 Nissan Versa S sedan, 6-speed manual. No serious plans to upgrade in the near future as I'm only at ~98k miles and I only need to do routine maintenance, but I have had my eye on the Honda HR-V. Sadly, they ditched the manual transmission for the 2019 model year, and I will never drive an automatic for as long as I can hold off. The used market for manual 2017-2018 models should be pretty decent in a couple of years, though.

2012 MB C350 now. I'm hoping to hold out until self driving systems start going on sale in the early 2020's. If that plan fails, I'm hoping for an electric next time around. Hopefully the tech will have progressed by then.

2014 BMW 335i and 2014 Audi Q7. We are more than happy with both and have no immediate desire to replace them. If one is in an accident, I could see us replacing with an electric car.

I have a 2017 Audi A4 quattro sport. Its in the shop for the second time for the nav being screwed up (the first time it took the entire MMI unit with it) and an issue with either the transmission or pre-sense sensors.

I'm at this point starting to get irritated by it but its got 2 more years of warranty / maintenance paid for so I'm not going to get rid of it for a bit. I'm planning to get a 2020 330i euro delivery hopefully , or maybe a 2021 M3 / 330e if I have a change of heart about how much I want to spend or get a new place to live where I can charge a car.

2000 F-250, paid $5k for it 6 years ago.
2002 Z28, paid $18k for it 10 years ago and it is a garage queen now.
2010 GMC Acadia for the wife, paid $18k 2 years ago.

Next vehicle? I dunno, I am still trying to figure out how people can afford the idiotic price tags on newer stuff. Thinking about a 2015 or so Raptor in a few more years when the F-250 craps out and the price on them drops to ~$12k.

I had a 2015 Highlander lease for 3 years. Let me know if you have any questions that you can't find yourself.

Just bought a 2019 Santa Fe a few weeks ago, got all of the bells & whistles I could. Hope I can get a good 10 years out of it, if not more.
