drempels would be cool too . . . if it didn't butcher my systems.
tried it on two different builds and both locked up. cpu usage zoomed to 100% and held. had to cold boot.



 
Ever seen that fishtank or fireplace one...not to exciting but cool. I saw this one that was a puddle and looked really cool! I forget the link though. Also there was a screensaver that scrolled slashdot headlines, pretty cool.

i was looking at the same page. googled 'psychedelic screensavers' and wallah, helios.

helios is awesome. but do you know how to integrate it into the winxp display properties ?

You are all assuming my name is a misspelling of the Latin word syzygy. Unfortunately I have seen it various times spelled the way I do. Also, using UT2K3 as a basis for the English language? Nice...
 
Hey guys, i relly like the screen saver that the newer Macs have. It basically is a slow panning of pictures on the screen and they fade from one picture to another. Very smooth transistions and very calming. I cuoldg et a few high-res pictrues on there and it would look sweet. Anyone know of a PC equivilent?

Yeah, Macs seem to have cooler screensavers - but that's about where I draw the line as far as their usefulness as computers goes.
