Your method for cleaning/prepping cpu bridge pads? (re unlocking, etc)

When bridging pads on a cpu, what method do you find best for cleaning the pads in order to provide good contact upon joining?

are you talking about unlocking amd cpu;s...and the gaps in between the golden bridges/contacts?

if so, i would imagine isopropyll would be nice...hell it wouldnt even matter to get the gaps nice and clean i would think...just have the top of it after you fill it nice and clean for the conductive substance

Yeah, talking about AMD CPUs. Asking b/c I've read about other people saying it has to be cleaned properly or it won't work right. Wasn't sure what it took to "clean" it, although some folx had just said to scratch the pads...
