I have to respectfully disagree with that. Most of the 14yr old girls know EXACTLY what they are doing ... and work very hard at looking "hot, but innocent".

my thoughts:

guy shouldn't be staring at underaged girls' crotches.

girls shouldn't be stupid to sit with the legs open for all to see.

the reply was stupid.....the girls should be taught that they will attract perverts if they aren't careful. talking to the man doesn't solve the problem of the girls sitting with their legs open.

First: the guy should not have sat there staring. Of course, any sense of being a 'gentleman' is nearly extinct in the MTV generation.

As for the girls, no one knows what they were thinking. Maybe some of them wanted the attention. Maybe some of them were completely oblivious. 12 is still very much a child and many 12 year old girls are quite oblivious to their surroundings.

Of course, the entire situation could have been prevented if we had any decent styles of dress still in existence.

i agree that girls need to learn not to reveal themselves like the girls on the subway were. however, that doesn't give them a free pass.

I did that once in Tokyo. . . watched a guy look up a couple girl's skirts while on a train. It was quite comical because I was with my friend at the time calling the perv's every move (takes one to know one, eh?). He would slump down in the seat to get a better angle. . . when her friend moved in front of her, he would move a couple of seats to the side to get a better view, fiddle with something in his bag then look "up" as he sat back up, etc. My friend was amazed on how dead on accurate I was predicting his every move.

They're both at fault.

Guy's shouldn't stare. Take a quick glance? Sure, I think they summed it up quite nicely on Seinfeld. But staring is just wrong.

However, girls in general are to blame in many instances. Guys will look at girls in baggy sweats; what do they expect with they wear next to nothing or not cover up certain areas? I'm sorry, but if a woman walks around with her cleavage hanging out, what does she expect?

She expects only the men she's interested in to look.

Yeah. I remember being in High School and a girl constantly yelling at me for looking. It was like, wear something that doesn't show cleavage and get back to me. (and she was stacked)
