i find it quite the intersting truck.

my uncle who had one for a month said it was a fun truck to drive, and if you wanted a head turner you got one.

not the sexiest truck ever, but a hardtop convertible truck is quite nice.

Way, WAYYYYYYY too expensive.

I couldn't believe when I saw that the base price was $69,995CDN. What a joke.

Underpowered.
Overpriced.
And ugly.

Sounds like a winning combo to me.

most limited production runs ANYTHING are overpriced, because it costs more to do limited runs than it does to do it forever.

We have several of them where I work.

Interesting watching the top go down, but otherwise kind of a useless vehicle.

I predict it will turn out something like the Prowler - they can't give those things away now.

Ugly? I like it.

Overpriced? Well, you got me there.

I shouldn't say underpowered....maybe underperforming given the power. Is that a better wording?

Grotesquely overpriced.

By like 30%. It'll flop unless they do some serious cuts soon.

I like it! It's the perfect vehicle for me. I like trucks and I love convertibles! :D

I'm talking about a straight conversion from Canadian dollars to US dollars.

Base price in CDN$ = $69,995

Completely loaded up with options, I could get it to $80,410CDN. Using the currency converter at XE.com, that works out to be $54,004.29US for the base model SSR, and $62.036.11US for the loaded up one.

GM needs to be realistic here. :p

Bumping this because I saw one on the road today.

Holy ugly vehicle batman! If it's supposed to be a truck, give it some damn ground clearance and make it look like a truck!

Reminded me of a really fugly El Camino.

It's supposed to be a sport truck, for which ground clearance would be of no use. Besides, those damn GM 1500s have about as much ground clearance as my car. And I swear the Z71 only has like an inch more.

Agreed. I can't seriously imagine anyone paying much over $30K for one of these monstrosities.

Eh? I can crawl under my Dad's '03 base model without need of ramps and still have room to work. Certainly can't do that with any passenger vehicles like a camry or passat.
