Lul, I saw that episode. It's irritating to have to retrieve my eyeballs after they've rolled right out of my skull. My audio is disabled at work, but IIRC they're all like "Whoa! 16 ports with a fat 10meg pipe! Less lag! OMG!"

With a 10 meg pipe. She needs a faster response time for the newer online games. There are a lot of people that are after her high scores.

Haven't watched NCIS in a long time. WTF happened to McGee. Did he lose like 80 pounds? He looks like he needs to eat a steak or 7.

I love NCIS. But that was hard to watch all the way through. Especially Gibbs and Mcgee doing the game thing at the end with the firewall breach graphics. Horrible.
I can usually stand NCIS fake computer crap. But that was terrible.
Two good things about the episode. The cute blonde from leverage was the gamer. And it wrapped up a loose end concerning Mcgee.
edit-When I saw this post, I knew it was about this. :)

lol...

It's funny to hear techno-jargin in tv shows.

I'm watching the x files thanks to netflix and on an episode last night ( circa 1995 ) the guy was talking about how massive the encrypted files were that they filled up 4-5 10gb hard drives.

To be fair though, the hard drive in my computer from the mid-90s was ~1.2GB... :)

but to be honest, holding off an entire skank horde with only 10meg pipes is rather impressive.

that woman should be given a gaming medal.

we've considered trying to partition some of it.

but there is no video processing, so...

No worries. I can write a VBscript to fix that and enhance it. All I have to do is re-route the GPS signal into the kernel.
