I was just done playing Gradius Gaiden (hard game 🙁) and I love the music for it.

I also enjoy most Super Mario music as well. The music is so good that I bought a copy of the live symphony version.

What's your favorite video game music?

Yasunori Mitsuda is really good too

my son's been playing kingdom heart all weekend (I think that's the name of it..) and it's music is more interesting (probably because it's partly familiar) than most of the things he subjects me to..

Homeworld - by far the best music for a game i have heard, i love the soundtrack

Ohh yeah... awesome ambience. It captured the feeling of being alone in the middle of space perfectly.

Anything Mario Bros. related, the No One Lives Forever theme, Legend of Zelda including the song in Windwaker as you are sailing......

I also stole some tracks off Redneck Rampage and Battlefield 1942

Ninja Gaiden (original NES). I have the MIDI files and have been meaning to do a remix with Sonar/Reason, but I'm a noob with this.

NOLF music was awesome. but i love the older stuff. mario brothers, tetris, contra, rygar and i will never forget the music in syndicate.
"dun da-dun da-dun dun syndicate" repeat.
