I was just done playing Gradius Gaiden (hard game 🙁) and I love the music for it.

I also enjoy most Super Mario music as well. The music is so good that I bought a copy of the live symphony version.

my son's been playing kingdom heart all weekend (I think that's the name of it..) and it's music is more interesting (probably because it's partly familiar) than most of the things he subjects me to..

F-Zero X (N64) and GX (Gamecube) both have some good tunage.
I like the dark music from Super Metroid/ Metroid Prime also.
