<< Dust in the Wind by Kansas is an awesome song! I have it on CD, it's a live recording. I downloaded the album version and I PREFER the live version! It's just totally wicked. I learned how to play it on the guitar, myself. :D I don't know it all, just the intro... it's cool. :)

All time favs? Stairway to Heaven, Black Dog, Babe I'm Gonna Leave you (all Led Zep), Money (Pink Floyd, duh), Day Tripper (Beatles), Dust in the Wind (Kansas), Hotel California (Eagles), Victim of Love (Eagles).

Most of the modern stuff isn't quite as mind-blowing as the older stuff such as what I mentioned. So most of the "favorite" stuff would have to be older. Of course I love listening to newer stuff, I enjoy listening to vast variety of bands, punk, rock and neither.. it's just that the new stuff, I guess needs time to sink in, or fade away. :p

I agree. Most of the good stuff was made in that past, IMO. Sure, some good songs still come out. But most of the newer music that I listen to (which isn't too much), doesn't mean something to me like the older stuff does. No group nowadays, at least IMO, compares to the likes of Pink Floyd, Led Zeplin, Jackson Browne, Cat Stevens, Bob Seager, The Rollings Stones, etc.

Radiohead - How to Disappear Completely

The music is perfectly matched to the mood, of just drifting away on a boat in the fog somewhere *daze*

No matter how often I listen to it, I can't get tired of Gigi D'Agostino's "I'll Fly with You" and all the various versions of it.

I also recently DLed parts of the "Amelie" soundtrack that are very nice.
