I usually buy those skater shoes like airwalk and vans because they're comfortable for my unusually wide feet, and they look nice to me. I pick whatever's the right price, meaning whatever's cheapest =).

A pair of well-broken-in old-skool style Vans are the ultimate in driving shoes.

I had to retire an old pair of addidas (sp) a couple years ago. I had them for 4 or 5 years. They were the most comfortable shoes I had ever owned. I only paid like $25-30.00 for them when i got them.

I still like Saucony, although I don't think they are as well made as they used to be. I don't think I've ever owned a pair of Nikes.

Vans Chukka boots, the suede ones? Those were the most comfortable shoes I have ever had.

Docs are comfy, but they are a bit heavy. Well the 5 eye steel toes are anyways.

What ever happened to "British Knights" shoes? I had a really comfortable pair of them about 10 years ago. They did eventually fall apart on me though.
