I see a red door and I want it painted black
No colors anymore I want them to turn black
I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes
I have to turn my head until my darkness goes

Either that or:

I stand up next to a mountain.
Chop it down with the edge of my hand.

Actually, on second thought, this trumps either of those:

And you see a girls brown body dancing through the turquoise,
And her footprints make you follow where the sky loves the sea.
And when your fingers find her, she drowns you in her body,
Carving deep blue ripples in the tissues of your mind.

That is a tough one to answer. There are several songs from the 60's I rate equally.

Come Together Beatles

Purple Haze Hendrix

California Dreamin Mamas and the Papas

Somebody to Love Jefferson Airplane

White Room Cream

Ring of Fire Johnny Cash

Dazed and Confused Led Zeppelin

Light My Fire The Doors

Crazy Patsy Cline

You Really Got Me Kinks

My Generation The Who

Satisfaction Rolling Stones

All of these are equal in my book.

Edited because I keep thinking of more, dammit!

That is a damn good list.

For me, I might vote "Layla", except that was a year too late, 1970. I don't know if I can pick just one 60s song.

Iron Man from Black Sabbath was a year too late too, so I had to exclude it from the list.

Smoke on the Water is from 1972, so no go there, either.
