I guess the TMNT cartoon. I'd also say Cosmos. I also like Scooby-Doo too.

I wasn't alive for 75% of those years though, so I don't have a lot of fond memories of shows from those two decades.

I do get a kick out of their themes though, like Welcome Back Kotter.

This is pushing it in terms of the time frame you mentioned, since it started in 1989 (1988 if you count the Miss Bliss years) and ran into the early 90s, but I totally love Saved By the Bell.

Yeah, we did omit M*A*S*H ... but that is still on in reruns and was a good comedy drama. Carol Burnett, mostly comedy, but not a show I watched often. And let's not forget the original Tonight Show with Johnny Carson (and Karnac the Magnificent)
