The Usual Suspects, though I love this movie so much, I'd hate to see the makers not get their money by you stealing it.
 
City of Lost Children - artsy
GroundHog Day - romantic comedy
Bladerunner - science fiction
Unforgiven - western
Platoon - war
Robocop - action

Broadly speaking, these movies are all exploring what it is to be human.
 
"The Never Ending Story", and if you find a place to steal it from let me know because my VHS tape is just about worn out. I mean...umm..no..I don't think so. But if you want to invite me over...no, still piracy.
 
I agree, it's a great film, I watched in like a week or so ago for the first time. However, my favourite of all time is DIE HARD!!!! 😀

hard to choose; recent movies i'd say Saving Private Ryan or Unforgiven. of the oldies i'd say Treasure of the Sierra Madre.
 
Requiem for a Dream is, no contest hands down, the best movie I have ever seen, but I'm not sure it is my favorite.

I agree. Awsome movie, great ending, funny jokes. I also recomend DIE Hard, third ones the best, or anything with Denzel washington, Sam Jackson, or Nick Cage.
 
Fight Club, LoTR, Braveheart, Gladiator, Matrix, Shawshank, all of these are very good. But nothing is as good as Arnold's new movie, Jingle all the Way.

Evil Dead, but please purchase it instead od stealing it. It took the creators like 7+ years to BREAK EVEN on that movie...
