Your favorite Classical Song

Beethoven's 9th Symphony
period
end of subject

it is the greatest good that mankind will ever accomplish
we will never top it

Not really classical (romantic period) but my favorite piano peice is Schubert's Impromptu in E Flat Major. His unfinished symphony is pretty good too.

Canon in D is the most beautiful piece of classical music.

good one, another is the firebird suite from Stravinski. 1812 Overture is pretty spectacular too.

Its a toss up among several, but now I would say Stravinsky's Firebird or Night on Cold Mountain. Handel's Messiah is excellent as well if you dont mind the piece's 70 minutes. Orff's Carmina Burana or Gustav Holst's The Planets are excellent as well.
