Your favorite casual, occasional drink?

Do you pop open a bottle of wine for dinner every now and then? A beer with your dinner? Or do you just like a cold (whatever) drink now and then? Or, are you completely opposed to alcohol altogether? If so, please state a detailed reason why you are.

I've had a few smirnoff ice, and I like them for the price, taste, etc. They're a good cool drink, plus if you DO want to get hammered it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg. Your thoughts?

Also, can you type coherently after 4? ;)

For a casual ocassional drink I like to pound back a 40 of the cheapest mexican swill I can lay my hands on!

Actually I'm boring now. All I really care to drink is beer. I still like some basic mix drinks like rum and coke but basically I just like to drink cheap corner-store bought pale ales or lagers or whatever they are. I can type coherently after 4!

I like Strawberry Daiquaris and Mud Slides every now and then. The last drink I had was in September. :)

Occasional drink - shot of whisky

Occasional drunk - Bud Light, Budweiser, Southpaw, whisky and coke... or whatever is on "special" at the grocery store or bar.

FYI: Some Food Lion's in the southeast are running a special three day sale with Bud 12 packs for something like $5.99. Check you local store because not all are running the ad.

I went from being an alcoholic (college fraternity life will do it to you) to abstaining completely for about 9 months and now I drink good wine with dinner about twice a month (preferrably a Cab with beef) and good beer with football. I like mixed drinks but they get you drunk too quickly and I have to "be careful".

I myself am particularly fond of Mellonballs and Black Russians. Both are pretty expensive, so I usually settle for whatever is in the freezer.

A nice cold glass of Cherry Coke. Unfortunately the university's cafeteria has something against serving alcohol with meals. Go figure:)

Gin & tonic.

We always have Bombay Sapphire here.

Right now we're out of tonic water, though, I should go get some...

Oh god, Black Russian is the most repulsive drink I've ever tasted. Maybe it just wasn't mixed properly, I dunno.
