Fess up. I'm enjoying my Maker's Mark in a snifter right now (with an ice cube too...so sue me b1tch!)

Not many of you drinking straight, so I changed thread title...

The only one I've ever been able to drink straight was some Glen-something. We were at a bar which had 100 different kinds of scotch, and some Scots were buying, so I tried quite a few. But I do like to mix Jim Beam.

Pennsylvania, of all places (so it's technically not bourbon). It's expensive, but blows every other bourbon I've had out of the water.

Whats the difference between whiskey and bourbon? I love makers mark straight but the label on the bottle of makers mark says "whiskey-bourbon"

I'm more of a cognac guy if drinking straight. I do have a bottle of Glenlivet 18 year and Jameson 15 year though, I wonder how good they are.........

Jameson's has a nice, smooth, going-down-the-slip-and-slide-at-the-waterpark type feeling... I'm not much for whiskey, but when i drink it, it's Jameson's..
