i don't consider metallica/megadeth from the 80s to be thrash, but thats the genre many put them in

venom was definately more thrash than pantera in the 80s 😉

I don't consider Metallica or Megadeth thrash either, which is why I didn't add them to the poll. Not sure why they are considered thrash. Compared to Destruction, Kreator, old Sacred Reich, Testament, etc. metallica and megadeth are no where near thrash compared to those guys.

Everything was more thrash than Pantera in the 80's. 😉😛

I'm sorry you think that Metallica defines the 80's. Not only that, I'm sorry you have such a crappy taste in music. I know the 80's. And there were so many many bands that are better than crappy Metallica. Some of them are on the pole. I can go ahead and list a whole lot of bands that were way better than metallica in the 80's. You, my friend, do not know what thrash metal is. You don't know what good music is.

Of course I didn't see them live. Why should I see a band I terribly hate? I will just go to a concert I like and actually enjoy it.
