You should look it up. Did our last sitting president give himself a massive tax break?

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/12/01/heres-how-trump-stands-to-benefit-from-the-republican-tax-bill.html

I can't tell if your being deliberately daft or just trolling at this point. You're literally on the internet, with numerous sources to find things, yet diverting with some good ole fashion whattaboutism. But what about those other president's? They were rich and gave themselves massive tax cuts as well! Really? Go.
You accuse me of diverting yet accuse me of saying former presidents of giving themselves tax breaks? Wha?

Show me the president's doing what Trump is. Deliberately daft? You know exactly what I'm talking about.

There's the same link again. Go.

Mmkay...no president has been as wealthy as Trump, therefore no other tax cut for the rich has benefited anyone as much as Trump. Is that what you wanted to hear?

Not exactly my point, but there you go.

ideology over reality.

Obama and bill Clinton would be the answer, they both raised taxes on the rich which directly, negatively, affected them.

You accepting reality, in either of the topics we've discussed, is where it starts.

I don't hate ya darlin' but if you support Trump and Punks in anything, I hate that and I become convinced that no matter your physical appearance you are likely ugly.
That's a sensible approach. Some fascist's get tied in knots trying to explain why they hate group X. You keep it simple and clear, I like that. Though I find your message and delivery every bit as repulsive as that of the KKK, perhaps a little more so because you wear your hate as a badge of honer. That delusion is dangerous in the extreme. That's what allows any action because your advisory's are less than human, you've said that time and again.
I know you think you're the champion of the down trodden, the defender of all that's right and proper, but the reality is you're just another hater.

Fair enough. Keep in mind Clinton also reduced capital gains taxes from 28% to 20%, and increased the death tax exemption by almost 66%. But youre right. Income taxes were raised on the rich.

Also, Trump’s tax cut included special carve outs for real estate companies like his. Exemptions that serve no discernible economic purpose.

There has never been anywhere close to this level of naked corruption from a president in all of US history.

Yep. I know you and I have talked about the pass-through provisions. As I have stated before, I understand it benefits the wealthy, but it also benefits normal people such as a couple middle income people I know who have rentals. Trump fucked up by stating this particular provision would NOT benefit him. Obviously false.

It’s not just the pass through provisions! Check this out:

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...te-investors-get-last-minute-perk-in-tax-bill

Lawmakers scrambling to lock up Republican support for the tax reform bill added a complicated provision late in the process -- one that would provide a multimillion-dollar windfall to real estate investors such as President Donald Trump.

The change, which would allow real estate businesses to take advantage of a new tax break that’s planned for partnerships, limited liability companies and other so-called “pass-through” businesses, combined elements of House and Senate legislation in a new way. Its beneficiaries are clear, tax experts say, and they include a president who’s said that the tax legislation wouldn’t help him financially.

Total, utter corruption.

Have I denied being completely disgusted with people who hate who build their agendas around their hate? Yes, I think people who do that are being a lesser version of human. It's not a badge of honor to me nor do I think of myself as a champion, just one voice among many saying NO.

Thanks for the conversation though. The twist here at the end tells me it was a waste of time. Bravo for the restraint you showed before this most recent response. However, you taught me nothing, I taught you nothing. Power on little buddy with whatever message you are trying to promote.

Then why did Trump say he wasn't going to benefit from this tax cut, and in fact say it was going to cost him money? Please tell us.
