Yep. After spending time in NY and NJ (about two weeks total), that sounds about right. Those people cannot fvcking drive safe to save their lives!

I don't understand how people *fail* this test a few times before they finally pass. I mean, they give you a pamplet with all the answers in it. Some people study this thing for weeks and still can't pass! WTF?

Washington's 2? Huh, I guess there is a difference between knowing the rules and following the rules.

Having grown up in NY and driven in NJ on many occassions I can confirm that NJ drivers are indead worse than NY drivers.

this is a written test ? Those are crap. I failed my first one then 15 minutes later (still without reading - or knowing what I got wrong) I passed it with just 1 wrong. Luck of the draw.

Road test was the true test.

I'll say this is synonymous with learning English. I learned from tv and day-to-day experience, not from English class memorizing a bunch of rules.

NY, 4th from last. Sounds 100% accurate, although I don't think I'd have even given NY drivers that much credit.

Once upon a time, I thought the drivers in MI sucked balls. Then I moved here. I want MI drivers back :(.

Oregon amazes me...how can they score so well on the written and still have absolutely no idea how to drive???

part of that is due to the idea that half of NJ and 3/4 of NY don't drive. now give a test about how to survive on mass transit, these four states would be top four, in different order.
