Your Distributed.Net ID does not belong to Team AnandTech

I've been getting the following message all week when I try to update my Team Anandtech profile on your site:

Your Distributed.Net ID (335896) does not belong to Team AnandTech.

However, when I go to Distributed.Net, my profile there says:

Participant: craig@computerhero.com
Team: 10635: AnandTech

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

Craig

Have you tried switching to another team, then switching back?

If you do try it, chose somebody like Tweakit/Sysopt just in case you have trouble getting back. Wouldn't want your blocks to go to DPC, now would we?

do you think the problem is with the TA site or with dnet ? If the latter, simly try to 'rejoin' your team, filling in the exact same team ID. You will get a mesage with old team affilliation and new team affiliation with the same team, but sometimes it solves problems. A wile back some people actually got 'thrown' out of a team by dnet without them knowing it, and rejoining solved some some of the stats and affiliation gaps back then. (allthough I still have a 89K RC5 gap from that period)

Just a quick one, what time do the RC5 stats get run (GMT if possible please) or how many hours differentr is UMT? either way is good 😉

I've talked with Mika via email about this very topic because I have had the same problem. It is a problem with our site, not DNet. Basically, the Team ID's are entered into the database first, then when someone joins/edits, it is checked to verify the person is on the team. According to Mika, that process of adding Id's to the db is mostly automated however, right now it isn't working. He's really busy, but knowing Mika, he'll get it fixed, he always does!😉

Osmo.

Osmo's exactly right. At the moment, it's close to be9ing automated, but no cigar. So, Mika has to run it manually, once a week or so. However, if you bug him enough, I'm sure he'll do it for ya ASAP.😉

Thanks for the information. I will stop wasting time trying all these different things to get it to work. I'll give Mika a week or so before I bug him about it. 😉
