I pointed out the lame Cecil article a few days ago, and came across another ridiculous Fox News article today. This is not an editorial, this is posted representing the entire network.

Clinton pays tribute to black victims – ignores officers killed in line of duty

Hillary Clinton paid tribute Saturday during her primary victory rally to the mothers of black victims killed by police and civilians – while ignoring the rising number of police killed by gunfire in the line of duty this year.

This is close to a non sequitur, where what they point out has nothing to do with their complaint. You can talk about one issue without the other. She also didn't mention orphaned children, Darfur, or world hunger if we are worried about all the issues she didn't fit into her victory speech. Fox only says this to rile up their base and it has absolutely zero journalist value.

We've achieved no-shits given in the media these days. Quite sad to see :(

Called her out for what exactly? Not mentioning every problem in the world?

Some of your words can be rearranged into something true: Fox news is misleading and unhealthy.

In other breaking news Marco Rubio alleges Trump wet his pants while failing to mention the Republican governor of Michigan who poisoned its citizens water

You can talk about one issue without the other.

I'll bet if someone on the other side brought cops killed in line of duty someone on the left would rush to bring up Black victims and complain they were ignoring that issue.

I doubt others on the left would shush them saying "You can talk about one issue without the other". Try it on a BLMer.

Hah.

I would ration my outrage if I were you. This is quaint in comparison of whats to come regarding dissenting commentary.

I get my news from multiple sources but have long since stopped getting it from Fox. I wanted to tune in despite knowing it had a conservative slant because I thought it was important to get media that challenged my views. Unfortunately, they make noise about all the dumbest things for the dumbest reasons while not levying much of any legitimate criticism against the Dems. (Free trade, for example) I remember checking their website once when their big headline was "STILL BLAMING BUSH". Where did they derive this opinion? From an Obama speech when he was like "Five years after one of the worst economic meltdowns in history, we still have a long way to go" or something to that effect. They will latch on to anything they can get and levy blame and scorn over anything they can twist and misconstrue to fit their agenda. I stopped bothering visiting their website. Not because they have views in contrary to my own, but because their antics are just fucking stupid.

Same here, yet I keep running into people that quote FOX lies and their disingenuous 3rd hand rumor and innuendo like it's gospel.

Gotta hand it to FOX for what Joe Goebbels would be so so proud of them for accomplishing.

Stop calling them a News Organization, it is an Entertainment Organization that has orders to lie to the public.

Trump said today the only thing we can do as a Country is to sue them into oblivion.

I hope Trump's sentiments toward FOX somehow rubs off on his followers and have them experience the epiphany they need to see FOX for the Murdoch propaganda outlet that it actually is.

Fox is starting to turn their favor towards Trump already, getting ready for the reality that comes Tuesday.

I can agree with this. This happened with the Paris attacks if you recall. BLM cried about them not getting the press they "deserved" and the victims of the Paris attacks taking away their spotlight.

The two issues do have correlation to me. Both involve police, both involve deaths. These other examples tossed out there are silly, they're obviously not even close. Some incidents are the types that police have killed people during, this time they've been killed. Such as the last one, a domestic call gone horribly wrong. One cop killed, two in hospital. Police deaths up 1000% compared to the same time last year. And those shot and not killed are also up.

Clinton could have talked about the leading way to die by gunshots, and it wasn't by police. As usual, this fact is ignored. While every wrongful death by police if terrible and should be dealt with as harshly as possible, it is not even close to the reason why "young unarmed black people" are dying. Black 6 year old shot and killed a last week by a random drive by by a car full of black guys, community not talking to police to help solve it? That's apparently a-ok with Clinton, just keep riding the racism wave. Don't bring that mother up on the stage, just troll the other mothers around.

How about a little honesty...

Fox, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, CNN etc are all echoing the views of the establishment from different angles.

If you look at the interests which own these mega corporations you will undoubtedly come to the conclusion that the medium, their interests, is the message.

These Corporations are a part of a sort of Crony Capitalism whereas the revolving doors between the State and so-called private enterprises are continuously spinning with former private executives being granted lucrative posts and positions of power from within the state only to enact rules, laws, legislation etc which benefits their former enterprises. Once their stint in office is completed, they return to their former posts richer and wealthier than they were before.

An authentic capitalist would decry this as crony capitalism. Where the market is not free but instead controlled and fixed by oligarchies with state granted privileges.

An authentic socialist would come to the same conclusion but from a slightly different angle. Whereas a collusion between the state and private enterprise is, in itself, representative of capitalism and that its effects on the working class is one of wealth inequalities where stagnant wages for the productive members of society (workers) are the result of this "Capitalism" which they would also dub Corporatism.

Partisan individuals would fight amongst themselves as either "Democrats" (Neoliberals and Progresives) and "Republicans" (Neoliberals and Neoconservatives) for power and influence over the hierarchically granted state privileges.

Fox news lies? Duh.
MSNBC lies? Duh.
CNN lies? Duh.
Etc etc etc.

The main idea is to have folks divided and fighting over a two party system on the basis of a "left wing" vs a "right wing" of the same bird. In the end both of these wings support the Empire whose immorality knows no bounds.

Arguing over the difference between "boots on the ground" and "drones in the air" ignoring that innocent civilians the world over are being bombed to smithereens in order to grant the empire a global market monopoly on the access of foreign resources for the benefit of this empires "private enterprises".

Going so far as arming, funding, training and supporters far right religious fanatics as a means of destabilizing foreign nations whose leaders refuse to grant the empire the full access of their nations natural resources and national markets.

So yeah, keep arguing... It appears to "really" be making a difference.

As for "law enforcement" when the laws are written by corrupt individuals and for benefit of an established order to the detriment of the individual and his/her natural rights then I see it as being akin to supporting the "kings soldiers" as they rampage throughout the kingdom stealing from the peasantry.

White, black, brown, yellow, red etc it doesn't freaking matter. Racism is a tool used by the establishment in order to gain your individual support. Anti-racism is also a tool being increasingly used for the same ends. The USA is one large reservation where individual Americans are mean't to labor until death as a means of maintaining a global empire whose wealth inequalities are a matter of fact. When the markets are set, inequalities rise.

As for supporting the troops, that's just a slogan. When these Men and Women return home, they're treated like scum. The homeless rate amongst veterans is embarrassing. Their mental illnesses and medical needs are ignored. So even those who fight, and die, in the name of empire are mistreated.

Seriously...

You know what empowers and unites individuals? Liberty. Under the banner of Liberty there is truth, objectivity, fairness, justice and equality.

Anytime the people support some infringement upon individual rights, they empower this immoral cabal of Crony Capitalists and the imperial order they serve.

Yep they will 1984 double speak it that Trump will be our savior, when up until recently, they were definitely in the Republican establishment camp. I guess Aires is beside himself not being able to be the "kings maker" for the right.

Fox is a joke absolutely the most biased network worse the RT. I would pay for higher gas prices so that Al jazeera can continue to broadcast in the US. Really pissing me off!
